Recreational Programming

Learning is fun and safe. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

That's what a lifetime of coaching has taught: making learning fun and safe is the most effective way to build long-term success.

Swim

Swim Lessons

Safety and maximization of time are the top priorities. Lessons never exceed a 3:1 ratio, so instructors always have an eye on every student and keep them active the whole lesson. All staff are Water Safety Instructor certified through the FAST Swim Program or the Red Cross — both accredited with the Florida Board of Health. FAST, Flotation Aided Swim Training, was created by Linda Bolger.

  • Ages Private lessons from age 3 and up; small group from age 6 and up — FAST is not an infant program.
  • Where Boca Raton, Cimarrone, Fleming Island Plantation, North Hampton & more — plus lessons at private homes
  • Method USCG-approved Type III life jackets, no forced submersion for beginners

We don't just hire certified staff. We certify them.

As a Licensed Training Provider for both the American Red Cross and Lifeguard-Pro, our instructors run lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid training year-round for individuals and groups throughout Jacksonville, St. Johns County, and Clay County.

Questions

The things boards actually ask.

How far in advance do you need notice for private event staffing?

To guarantee coverage we need 14 days notice prior to the event. Dates may be changed only in the event of extreme weather.

What does private event coverage cost?

Lifeguards are $225 per lifeguard for the three-hour minimum required for booking, then $50 per hour per lifeguard for additional time. Private event attendants are $180 for the three-hour minimum, then $30 per hour. Holiday rates differ.

Are your lifeguards and attendants certified?

Yes. All lifeguards and amenity attendants hold current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. Elite Amenities is a Licensed Training Provider for both the American Red Cross and Lifeguard-Pro, so we train and certify our own staff rather than depending on someone else's schedule.

What is the ratio for swim lessons?

Lessons never exceed 3:1 — three students per swim instructor. All staff are Water Safety Instructor certified through the FAST Swim Program or the Red Cross, both accredited with the Florida Board of Health.

Do you staff year-round or only in season?

Both. Staffing is available for seasonal and year-round aquatic operations, special events, and additional support services, based on each property's operational needs.

What happens if a tennis session is rained out?

The session continues at a later time. If you need to reschedule for any other reason, we'll do our best to accommodate you in a future session or clinic.

Which areas do you serve?

Jacksonville (Duval County), St. Johns and St. Augustine (St. Johns County), Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island (Nassau County), Fleming Island and Orange Park (Clay County), Palm Coast (Flagler County), Ormond Beach (Volusia County), Boca Raton (Palm Beach County), Broward County, and surrounding areas.

How do you vet the people you place at our property?

We hire through an extensive vetting process with numerous reference checks and use a trial basis to determine a good fit. Every person we hire is prepared, proficient in their duties, and exceptional in their communication — because once they're on site, they're representing your community, not just ours.
